We Remember...

North Point Community Church created this video to open up service on the ten-year anniversary of the 9-11 attacks. The original link is here

We Hope...

Psalm 33: 20-22
20 We wait in hope for the LORD;
   he is our help and our shield.
21 In him our hearts rejoice,
   for we trust in his holy name.
22 May your unfailing love be with us, LORD,
   even as we put our hope in you.

We Believe...

Isaiah 53:5-6
5 But he was pierced for our transgressions,
he was crushed for our iniquities;
the punishment that brought us peace was on him,
and by his wounds we are healed.
6 We all, like sheep, have gone astray,
each of us has turned to our own way;
and the LORD has laid on him
the iniquity of us all.

Philippians 4:4-7
 4 Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! 5 Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. 6 Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. 7 And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

  1. Love this post. Love the songs and scripture. I was just watching some of the 9/11 stuff and I had to cry. I can't believe it's been 10 years!

  2. Thanks for the songs and scripture. It is truly hard to believe it was 10 years ago!

    I was on facebook yesterday and many people remember where they were when they heard the news. It is definitely a time we won't soon forget.
