Today I'm sharing ten of my favorite products for moms of newborns!
1.
Bath Products
I love this Mustela Foaming Shampoo for Newborns and 2-in-1 Hair and Body Wash
For girls, I love this Noodle & Boo Set. The scent is so subtle and sweet!
2.
Mustela PhysiObebe
This Mustela PhysiObebe is one of my all-time favorite baby products that I still use on Ryan at 19 months. It's a no-rinse cleanser that is great for cleaning up spit-up off of their little bodies (and under their little neck rolls!) or wiping food off of their little faces. It smells so good and is great for in between baths or in those early days before they can take a soaking bath.
3.
Bravado Nursing Bras
These bras are my favorite! They are SO comfortable, they're easy to snap and unsnap with one hand, and they give great support without an underwire.
4.
Avent Disposable Nursing Pads
These nursing pads are a great deal for a box of 100. I used them with Ryan and am using them again with Natalie. They easily fit inside the bras and don't bunch up or come loose throughout the day.
5.
Medela Quick Clean Bags
These bags make bottle cleaning, paci cleaning, and pump-part cleaning SO easy! You toss all the parts in the bag with 2oz of water and microwave for 1.5-3 minutes depending on your microwave. So simple!
6.
Woombie
The Woombie is my favorite swaddle to use at night. It is on in two quick steps- snap at the top and zip from the bottom- and makes nighttime diaper changes so much faster. The double zipper allows you to keep your baby swaddled on the top while you change the diaper which helps Mama get back in bed faster!
And on that note, a friend gave me the best advice for middle-of-the-night feeds when I was a new mom: change the diaper at the break point of the feed (like when you stop to burp). This gives a better chance for baby to nurse back to sleep rather than potentially want "wake time" as you're trying to put her back down after a diaper change. This little trick made middle-of-the-night feeds so much quicker!
7.
Disposable Diaper Changing Pads
These little changing pads eliminate washing the actual changing pad cover multiple times a week (or day!) and are also great for on-the-go. I cut them in half because they're so big and only throw them away when they get dirty from a change- so one box lasts a good while!
8.
Mamaroo
A Mamaroo is not cheap, but they are SO worth it in my opinion. They take up less space than a swing and allow the baby to lie almost flat or sit almost completely upright, which is great for babies with reflux. They have multiple settings for movement, speed and white-noise sounds. And the little mobile on the top has great contrasting colors/patterns for the early focusing stages.
9.
Solly Baby Wrap
These are hands down my favorite baby wearing wraps. They are so comfortable, they fold into a little pocket that's attached to the end of the wrap, and they are machine washable. Plus the founders are two of my favorite people to follow on Instagram. ;) (Check out their accounts here and here.)
10.
Native Wilds Nursing Cover
I didn't have this with Ryan and hated having to try to nurse in public with the one I had. This cover is so much lighter and stretchier and covers your whole back so you don't have to worry about flashing parts of your back or sides as you nurse. It can also be used as a car seat cover and folds into the cute little bag shown.
Hope you are able to find some new favorites from this list!
Happy almost Friday, friends!
Yay! I found bras similar to those at target that I love! Also - is the momaroo the one that you can sync with your phone?? Someone was telling me about something like that which is just crazy!! I can't stinkin wait to have this baby in my arms rather than my ribs! 😉
ReplyDeleteOooh you'll have to tell me about the Target ones- I bet they are less expensive! And I am not sure about the phone syncing- maybe the new models do that?! And oh man you are getting so close!! For sure having him in your arms will be way better than in your ribs! 😂
DeleteGreat list! There are so many things that I'm finding now that I wish I had with D!
