Birthday Outing, ACC Championship + a WINNER!

Friday was Matt's birthday. To celebrate, we went to Bone's for dinner. It was the first time either one of us had been, and it was amazing! The service was over-the-top in a good way. The table was decorated when we sat down, every person who walked to the table throughout the night wished "Mr. Nelsen" a happy birthday, they brought him a massive piece of ice-cream cake for dessert (wife of the year here forgot to mention that he doesn't like chocolate, so I had to take one for the team and put a large dent in it solo so we didn't look ungrateful- marriage is all about sacrifice, right?) :) And then when we were leaving, they had a parting gift for him! Seriously?! Yes, we will be back.

After dinner, we went to see Catching Fire at Phipp's. It was SO good!

Saturday morning, we had about an hour to hang out before we left for Charlotte for the ACC Championship.

I think Tally knew he wasn't coming... but he got to have an all-day play date with his best friend, our next door neighbor's dog, so he was just fine. :)

When we arrived in Charlotte, we went to the team hotel and hung out for a couple hours- pretty crazy to think that a lot of these guys will be playing in the NFL in the next couple years.

I didn't want to be "that girl" and whip out the fancy camera, but I was definitely "that girl" taking pictures with my phone.

My attempt at getting pictures of Jameis Winston.

We were laughing at how some of the guys made Matt look small- and he's 6"2! I got to talk with Jimbo's wife for a little bit- she was the nicest person. So sweet!
