If you found this page through Pinterest, be sure to try out the Cheddar 7UP Biscuits that I shared here. I like them even better than these!
I pinned this to my recipe board not too long ago and couldn't wait to try them. The pin took me to Mickey's post. I'm thinking the next time I make them, I may add 1/2 cup of cheddar cheese because they tasted really similar to the cheddar biscuits from Red Lobster, and who wouldn't want to make those at home?! Oh. yum. I may just have to try that this week.
Ingredients:
2 cups Bisquick mix
2 cups Bisquick mix
1/2 cup sour cream
1/2 cup 7up
1/4 cup melted butter
Directions:
Preheat oven to 450. Cut sour cream into Bisquick mix, then add 7up- it will make a soft dough. Sprinkle your counter or wax paper with a little Bisquick mix, then add dough and pat it out. Melt butter and pour it into a 9” square baking pan. Cut your bisuits up and arrange them in the pan on top of the melted butter. Bake 12-15 minutes or until golden brown. Yields: 9 biscuits

I would recommend using more Bisquick mix than this on the wax paper. It gets pretty sticky!
Learned this trick from Matt's mom :)

I just made these along with my homemade chili. I followed the recipe exactly except that I did brush melted butter on them right before they came out. OH MY GOSH!! They are sooooo good and remind me of Cracker Barrel's biscuits. Super moist and buttery. This is indeed my new biscuit recipe. YUM!!
