House Resources

Our General Contractor no longer does private renovations for new clients, but here are some other resources that may be helpful to you:

Hard Wood Floors: Dwight Williams
678-773-3292

We used Dwight for the beginning of our master bedroom makeover. He took out the carpet and matched the original wood that was in the rest of our 1940's house.
Julie Minton helped us out with the design side of our master bedroom makeover. She is the sweetest person you will meet and is super efficient and affordable! You can check out the rest of the makeover here and the rest of Julie's work here.

Floor & Decor

Our tile for the bathrooms, laundry room, fireplace, and backsplash were bought from here. They have a huge selection and great prices.

ApplianceSmart
http://www.appliancesmart.com/
Our kitchen appliances came from here. Their prices were significantly lower than Brandsmart. Our delivery was free, so make sure you tell them that you want free delivery too!

Cabinets To Go
http://www.cabinetstogo.com/
Our kitchen cabinets and both bathroom vanities came from here. They don't do a lot of advertising, but their prices are unbelievable. Searching for double vanities, in particular, was very discouraging until we found this place!

Granite Countertops- Elise Davis

404-391-3895
Matt and I searched around for the best price for granite and landed here. The other places we called were surprised by the quote that Elise gave us and couldn't come close to beating it! We went to their warehouse and were able to pick out the actual stone that was used in our kitchen. The service was excellent, installation quick, and the finished product is fabulous!
Just about every decorative accessory in our house is from Homegoods. I love this store!

West Elm is owned by the same company that owns Pottery Barn and Williams-Sonoma, but their prices are much more reasonable.  And unlike other companies that offer lower-priced retail options, the quality is not sacrificed at West Elm. Our window treatments and our bedding are from here (but all curtain rods and pillows came from Homegoods!). They run great sales, and you can look up promo codes on Google to get an additional discount off your order.

Sherwin-Williams runs sales constantly. We bought all of our paint for the entire house (baseboards, ceilings, walls, doors, etc.) at 40% off! Check the Sunday paper and their website for coupons.

All of our shelving, tools, lawn care items, fan, and some light fixtures and faucets came from here. The shelves are kind of a pain to install, but you'll save thousands (seriously!) using them over California Closets or Elfa Closets. Home Depot will match Lowe's coupons as well.

All of our blinds for the house came from here. They run huge sales in stores and online, but you can get free shipping most of the time if you search for coupon codes through Google. We were able to get our blinds at 70% off with free shipping!

We did a LOT of online shopping. We would find something we liked at a store on the store's website, and if we couldn't get a good price, we would type in the item number on one of these two sites and go for the lowest price! This worked best with our light fixtures for both bathrooms, the chandeliers for the dining room and our bedroom, and some of our faucets. If you're willing to be patient and search a little, you can save tons of money!
