Puppy Photoshoot + a WINNER!

Somehow this post got lost in the shuffle, but the pics are too cute not to share! Back in June, we got together with some friends the afternoon of our 10 year high school reunion. We brought Tally along, and our other friends brought their dog so that the two could meet. Tally was such a little thing! He's growing so fast! Here are the pictures from the afternoon:

He's so big now! But still pretty cute. ;)

In a strange way, I kinda miss my #summerdays daily pics and weekly posts. 

It was fun to find something to capture everyday. 

I've toyed with the idea of doing an extended version of the #summerdays pics... like a picture for everyday of our 29th year- a journey to 30 if you will (wait... 30?! ...that can't be right) 

...but then I think I'd hate for it to come across like I think my life is so interesting it should be documented on a daily basis. ha!

Let's be honest. Some days are just normal. 

But I happen to like normal. 

And I like finding something in the "normal" to capture everyday. 

So maybe I'll do it? Maybe not.

Either way, here are a few instapics from the last couple weeks!

Pizza Dip!

I am an appetizer lover, a cheese lover, and a pizza lover... so this dip is pretty much perfection.



Ingredients:
1- 8oz. package cream cheese, softened
2 cups Italian blend shredded cheese, divided
1 tsp. Italian seasoning
1/4 tsp. salt
1 jar pizza sauce




Directions:
Mix together cream cheese, 1 cup of cheese, Italian seasoning and salt. Spread onto a flat dish (9x9 or pie dish works great). Cover with sauce (I use almost the entire jar... just pour until covered). Top with cheese. Bake at 350 for 25 minutes. Serve with your favorite crackers or bread.

Love these triscuits (4 cheese flavor- of course) and bread!

Family get-together in Monroe

Matt had his Fantasy Football Draft / guy's weekend in Greenville this weekend, so Tally and I went solo down to my mom's for a family dinner on Saturday. Surprisingly, it was Tally's first time down to Monroe! He was such a good little pup the whole time... never had to put him on the leash- he stayed close by the entire time we were outside. Love this little pup!

I forgot my camera so the pictures aren't great- but we spent some time in the front and back yard watching the kids practice their baton twirling ;) and soccer skills.

I was so glad to see this little love and her parents! Brian and Jennifer live in Charleston so we don't get to see them as often as we'd like!

Munchkin love :)

This was the part where the kids told me Tally was ruining their soccer game... haha, poor pup wanted to play with the big kids but just kept getting in the way (or trying to steal the ball). ;)

Music class- love these kids.

When mom says she's making dinner for everyone... you make SURE you're there. Poor Matt was jealous he had to miss!
