Friday night, we celebrated my mom's birthday at my sister's house. She is the best mama and nonna in the world. We're so thankful for her!
For the celebration, I made
Stuffed Shells and Pear & Goat Cheese Salad with Candied Walnuts (I'll be sharing the recipe tomorrow!), and my sister made the appetizers and the most delicious dessert- Oreo Ice Cream Pie- YUM.
Saturday morning, we headed to Chastain Park. Tally loves playing in the water there- it's pretty cute to watch him run around like a crazy pup, not sure of what fun thing he should do first. ;)
When we got home, Hagen came over and stayed for most of the day. While they played outside, Matt went to hit golf balls and I went for a massage. This would normally but a treat (and normally wouldn't happen on a random Saturday), but not this time- I pulled a muscle in my back about a week ago doing a Jillian (Jillian Michael's that is- this
DVD to be exact- so dumb!). So while it definitely wasn't a relaxing massage, I did feel much better after it was over. Especially since the sweet lady gave me $20 off. ;)
Sunday, Matt and I celebrated
6 years of marriage. SIX years! Hard to believe time has flown by so quickly. Thanks for all of your sweet wishes on yesterday's post, FB and IG. We appreciate the love!
I had to snap this picture Sunday morning as we were finishing up breakfast and getting ready to head to church. I think Tally knew we were getting ready to leave. Sweet pup. :)
Sunday night, we went to dinner at
Sotto Sotto in Inman Park. Italian, of course. Mmmm, Mmmm was it good! When the server was taking the picture, he said we looked like we owned the restaurant. I didn't really get it, so I just laughed-
default reaction. If you live in the Atlanta area and love authentic Italian cuisine, I definitely recommend checking it out!
